Jorvik House Hotel York, York

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. While the rooms had nice cowshed products to try and offered a good amount of space, the layout was inconvenient and the noise from the room above affected my sleep quality. The service was a bit of a hit-and-miss, with helpful staff but some unnecessary charges and disturbances. The location was exceptional for exploring the city center but had a downside of potential noise disturbances. The dining experience was decent, with room service being a convenient option. Overall, the stay had its ups and downs.

I had a lovely time at the hotel. The Scandi feel in the rooms was relaxing, and the staff were extremely accommodating, especially to our friend with a foot injury. The room was clean, well-furnished, and comfortable, although a tad smaller than expected. The location near the museum gardens was fabulous, providing a beautiful walk into York.

The hotel is ideally located, close to major attractions in a peaceful area. The rooms were cozy but a bit noisy due to street lights and other guests. My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist us, especially with finding disabled parking. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from the city center through the beautiful Museum Gardens. The dining experience was good, but the timing of breakfast may not suit early risers. The facilities were clean and well-kept, contributing to a comfortable stay.
